Make Your Own D.I.Y. No Sew Pet Bed!

Using this simple no-sew technique, you can make your pets a bed from scratch!

You will need:

Stuffing from an old pillow, fabric scissors and a felt blanket/fabric.

The first thing you will need to do is to fold the longest side of your fabric in half.

You will then need to cut your fabric in half, which you can measure by folding your shortest folded side of fabric over on a diagonal fold, until you reach the edge of the rest of the material.

Once you have cut along the fabric to make it square, unfold the diagonal fold, leaving the material still folded in half.

You can then cut the corners to make them round, cutting both layers of fabric. Cut along the fold, giving you two round pieces of fabric - leave the two pieces with one piece lying on top of the other.

Cut a fringe around the edge of the whole circle, cutting both layers of fabric at once.

Then you can begin to tie the top and bottom layers of fabric together using the fringes - a double knot is recommended. Leave the last few strips of fabric untied, as you will now need to stuff the inside of the bed with your pillow filling.

Tie your last few fringes together to finish the pet bed!

It can also be used as a floor cushion outdoors, and you can mix and match your fleece colours/patters for the top and bottom fabric if you wish.
